Hello, it’s great to meet you!

My name is Victoria, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. My journey as a therapist is deeply influenced by my diverse experiences in life, from being an NCAA Division 1 athlete to navigating the creative industry as a singer-songwriter and producer and founding a refugee youth program in Toronto. These experiences have shaped my belief that everyone deserves to live a life of belonging and fulfillment.

With a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, along with a Master of Counselling Psychology (M.A.C.P) from Yorkville University, I have a strong academic foundation in the therapeutic process. But beyond that, I bring my experience and a deep passion for understanding the unique challenges that every individuals faces.

I believe therapy is a deeply personal journey and everyone’s path to healing is different. My approach is client-centered, and I work hard to create a space where you can feel safe, heard, and valued. I understand how challenging it can be to open up and be vulnerable, so I take the time needed to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout our work together. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Person-Centered Therapy, to create an approach tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll work to better understand the challenges you’re facing, explore new perspectives, and develop strategies to support your growth and resilience.

Whether it’s navigating life transitions, overcoming personal struggles, or simply finding balance, I look forward to collaborating with you and supporting you in the way that best meets your needs. I believe that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you have the ability to create a meaningful, authentic life.

When I was in high school, classmates would ask me for personal and relationship advice. When I saw that I was helping people, it occurred to me, “maybe I can do this as a career one day”.

The backbone of my therapy is based on compassion and empathy. This allows me to show up for you in the way you require for that specific day at that specific time. My therapeutic style is person-centered which means that we work together to develop your sense of self-awareness and self-efficacy. We will identify, process, and manage difficult feelings that are bringing you down while building on strengths you already have. If interpersonal relations are communication are an issue, we will learn communication strategies while helping you express your needs in effective, non-confrontational ways. We will also identify and listen to the parts of you that are stuck in the past while considering whether they serve you or are getting in your way.

From 2008-2020 I lived oversees as an international educator in different countries. This has provided me with appreciation and respect for different cultures and ways of life. During therapy I want you to feel comfortable, heard, understood, and seen while we come to terms with your experiences and work towards your goals.
