Hello! My name is Omar. I hold a Bsc. In Neuroscience and Mental health and working on my MA in Counselling Psychology. I am fascinated by old and current exploration of the brain and mind, how we co-construct and perceive reality, why behaviors evolved the way they have, and why we value different things. I like to help my clients create new ways of perception and dispensing with crystallized thinking. True pathology is often rare and obvious. That is why I focus on a solutions-perspective. I am no expert and like to learn from others, including my clients, throughout my journey. I aim to use many evidence-based techniques or approaches to help you reach better mental health. I also like to combine my understanding of Western and Eastern philosophies, and both theoretical and pragmatic style of conceptualizing problems. Above all, the most important thing for me is our relationship that is oriented towards healing.

My modalities include: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Our lives are journeys that take us along different paths and sometimes those journeys are lonely. We may be faced with some hardship or some complex situations, and at times challenging experiences.
